Bottle cap bugs activity

Activity level: Easy

Supplies: Few bottle caps. googly eyes, fevicol and black acrylic color

Simplest activity which kids can do without much supervision.

Take colored bottle caps so you don't have to color your bugs.  Just stick the eyes and decorate bugs with black color.
And if you are wondering where to find that red color cap, head to kitchen, it's from empty Hing(asafoetida) bottle!! And if you don't have one, you can always color white bottle cap with color of choice!

How we became community farmers!

For past some days we were in search of ways to support our sustainable leaving goals and actively researching on community farming options here in Bangalore.        At home after most of my balcony garden plants and specially veggies became rodent and pigeon food, I still had not lost my hopes and still wanted to go ahead and grow our own fresh food.           That is when we landed with this platform called Farmizen! Though we did not find many reviews of Farmizen around, their social handles were showing good progress and so we thought of giving it a try. So two weeks back we registered on to Farmizen as community farmers with many like minded farmers. They have multiple plots per farm and the app gives you a lot of flexibility in choosing what you want to grow. On the other days the farmer takes care of your farm and you can plan visits and work around your farm on weekends. You also can see growth and harvest and other activities at your farm through the app.

Farmlog - Week 6 (deferred) update and week 7 home delivery

Well the farm plot is growing real fast and we had a very good methi harvest in week 6. Loved harvesting methi by self and also learned the right harvesting technique from very helpful Rajeshwari, which is wetting the ground and pulling methi out holding near roots. My happiness knew no bounds with this plentiful harvest. This week, W7 we decided to try out the home delivery option for the harvest. And again got a plentiful methi, spinach, red and green amaranthus, coriander and radish greens again!  Spinach Coriander  Green and Red Amranthus  Greens harvest is going great and now we eagerly await other veggies to start harvesting!!
